Uh Oh The Ninety-Ohs

"I'm level 90 and yet my alts must suffer constant ambushes."

This has to be probably my first time my character has ever been extremely powerful and in end gear, well almost. I have like, a few gear in the 495 item level. But that's not the point about this. So, recently I've been finding myself unamused by the Alliance with this character because very few try to pick a fight with me. The only time I ever see Alliances fighting me is when I head to Timeless Isle. And even there, I find myself attacking my own Horde members due to that blasted trinket that allows them to attack their own side.

But what about my alts? THEY are the ones that sees a lot of action, and the kind of action is what I've been waiting for with my main, not my alts. If anything, I'd rather fight an Alliance creature my own level, not forty levels ahead of me to where they can just one-shot me and camp. No, I'm sorry, that isn't amusing, nor do I find that fun. I been going back and forth with my main and doing the same thing to the lowbie Alliances just to get my frustrations out. But even with that doesn't really satisfy me as much as I thought it would. The fact that my alternate characters have been getting nonstop attacked by level ninety characters who have nothing else to do but to camp low level characters is downright boring. I can't seem to find any kind of interest to continue questing if my character continues to get one-shot by someone and continues to do it no matter where I go in the area.

Of course, I could just stop playing for the night, but you know when you're on a roll in leveling that stopping right in the middle of it just makes you want to go back to the character and continue playing? Yeah, because leveling has gotten so much easier for low characters. However, it's not so fun when I'm getting attacked by all these high level characters.

So, what are the low characters supposed to do? Constantly level around their ninety friends? I don't want to have someone who's ninety to keep following my level fifty around just for protection, what are they supposed to do? I guess mine if they have mining as a profession, but even then, it's not as fun as when it was when you were leveling. I guess we could just suck it up and just continue on with our business? But what happens if they constantly attack you like crazy? They just won't let go? They keep following you and just making your questing unbearable to tolerate it?

I have no idea, and if someone does has a bright one they'd like to suggest, holy crap would I love to know it. Unfortunately, I don't think there really is one. And with these pre-ninety characters that you can get with Warlords of Draenor... for those people who are brand new with the game and have an automatic ninety character... I don't even want to know the kind of damage that is going to bring to the game.

I guess there's a lot of mix feelings for this ninety boast. I mean, a lot of people are talking about how it destroys the whole aspect of what World of Warcraft is supposed to be about. You know, you quest, you level, you run dungeons, gear up, then raid? Yeah, well, you get to skip out on all of that. But then, there's the other side where people might use this for an alt of theirs. Which I of course will be using... that is if one of my alts don't get to ninety before the release. (And with the way things are going, one or two of them might be ninety by the beginning of summer) But with this ninety boast, you can make a brand new character from scratch. And this can be used for anyone who is new to the game. We could see brand new players who have never even touched this game start playing and making us who have been playing (since Vanilla *cough cough*) go absolutely nuts. I don't think I'd be too kind to newbies playing a ninety who doesn't know a single thing about the character they chose to play as. (You got Google, you can look up all the stuff there) Sounds a bit mean, but you don't know the half of it for those who aren't familiar with the game.

I guess I have to prepare myself for this ambush of a dozen nineties heading towards my alts and viciously taking them down for no apparent reason. I mean... you get no honor points, so what's the point with murdering my low character?
